NTELOS SELECTS AIRWIDE SOLUTIONS' AIRACTIVE SOLUTION

Montreal, March 21- airwide solutions, a leading global provider of innovative messaging and content delivery management solutions, today announced that NTELOS has selected its CDMA Over-the-Air solution (OTA). Called airactive, the solution has two modules; Over-The-Air-Parameter-Administration (OTAPA) and Over-The-Air Service Activation (OTASP). The airactive OTAPA functionality allows NTELOS to update preferred roaming lists over the air through a process that is transparent to its customers.

"We have already used airactive to update mobile devices with new roaming lists," said Bobby McAvoy, Vice President - Wireless Engineering and Operations from NTELOS. "Having the capability to update customer roaming list in a transparent manner eliminates the need for the customer to interact with our retail locations or customer care centers and offers a significant savings opportunity". In addition, airactive OTASP module will allow NTELOS to activate phones remotely.
