London, UK. - February 14, 2005 - airwide solutions, a leading global provider of innovative messaging and content delivery management solutions, today announced that its board of directors has elected Kevin A. Wood to succeed Simon Everitt as President and Chief Executive Officer of the company. Wood, 43, previously was the President, Americas for Comverse. Wood will join airwide solutions in his new capacity effective February 14, 2005.

Wood brings more than 15 years of experience in technology companies. During his tenure at Comverse, and its predecessor company Boston Technology, Wood was part of the management team that grew Comverse from the first few million dollars to over $1.2 billion in revenues, establishing it as a leader in communications enhanced services market. He oversaw the America Division's sales and marketing, customer operations, and localized research and development. Prior to joining Comverse in 1990, Wood held positions as a financial and management consultant. Most recently, he was the founder and president of Wood & Company, LLC an advisory and investment firm focusing on emerging growth companies in high technology.
Wood serves on the board of advisors of the several emerging growth companies in the communications industry including Soma Networks as well as on the Advisory Board of the New England Hi-Tech Charity Foundation.
