AIRWIDE SOLUTIONS EXPANDS PARTNERSHIP WITH ULTICOM

Multi-Year Agreement Provides Messaging Solutions Leader with Carrier-Grade Signaling

Cannes, France, February 16, 2005 - At the 3GSM World Congress conference, Ulticom, Inc. (NASDAQ: ULCM), the premier provider of signaling software solutions, today announced it has signed a multi-year agreement with airwide solutions, a global provider of innovative messaging and content delivery management services. Building on a previously existing relationship between the two companies, the agreement establishes Ulticom as airwide's exclusive signaling solutions supplier on Linux and Solaris platforms.

Ulticom's Signalware provides a unified network signaling API to airwide's rich suite of network applications, delivering enhanced mobile services such as Short Message Service (SMS), Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD), Equipment Identity Register (EIR), Missed Call Notification, Over-the-Air Service Provisioning (OTASP) and Parameter Administration (OTAPA) across global wireless networks. In addition, Signalware provides a consistent interface to airwide's applications regardless of computing platform, enabling the selection of Solaris for SPARC or Linux for Intel architecture computing systems and giving airwide the maximum flexibility to meet both their product and evolving customer requirements.

An important element of this agreement is that Ulticom will port its Signalware SS7 and Signalware SIGTRAN products to run on the OpenVMS operating system. More specifically, this port will provide SS7 TCAP-based transaction capabilities over direct connectivity to IP networks using the SIGTRAN standards M3UA and SCTP.

"Having standardized on Signalware, we will now be able to offer messaging and content delivery solutions to our customers on their platform of choice, with multiple network interface options" said Vince Kadar, CTO at airwide solutions. "Working with Ulticom means cost savings to our customers while providing them the features and functionality to meet their unique future network signaling needs with a more flexible, carrier-grade architecture."

"Delivery of personalized voice, text, and video messaging solutions continues to be an essential revenue generator and differentiator for service providers around the globe," said Osman Duman, vice president of marketing at Ulticom. "This agreement reinforces our partnership with a recognized leader in the enhanced mobile services market and demonstrates our commitment to respond to the needs of our customers."
