The Account Manager is responsible for looking after named accounts in the region.

Deliveries Engineer - Europe / APAC
Airwide Solutions is global mobile telecoms organisation located in Espoo, Reading, Montreal, and Sydney. Airwide Solutions works within the messaging (SMS/MMS/EIR) market place worldwide.
The Project manager will work within the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Delivery Services team based in Espoo and will report to the Delivery Services Manager.
EMEA Delivery Services are responsible for all delivery projects for EMEA customers. Delivery projects involve the installation or upgrade of one or more of the Airwide Solutions products to network operators mainly within EMEA. For further information regarding projects see information at the end of this specification. A project manager is responsible for managing 4 - 5 (depending on size) concurrent delivery projects involving all products in the Airwide Solutions product range. These projects may be for the same customer (in which case they form a larger programme of work) or for different customers. Project duration is typically 8 to 16 weeks involving 1 engineer but some projects involving multiple products and systems can last for longer. Where there is a programme of work in progress, the overall programme can last for more than a year and involve 2-3 engineers.
The current vacancy is for someone to initially manage a programme of work for one of our larger customers.

Java Developer - Espoo, Finland
The role is a Software Developer / Designer role within a small team whose prime responsibility is the development, maintenance and support of Airwide’s AirGate SMS product.
The responsibilities will be initially related to product support and maintenance, which provides good practical way to get familiar with product design and architecture. After the adequate knowledge has been acquired, there will be opportunity to move more into product development role.
Junior Software Designer / Developer - Espoo office
The role is a Software Developer / Designer role within a small team whose prime responsibility is the development of Airwide’s Messaging gateways, Service manager and its optional modules, or the new multimedia products. This task involves coordination with development programs of Airwide’s other development centres and also with testing teams, all located in various Airwide locations worldwide.
The responsibilities will be the design, development and integration testing of software modules and components to our new multimedia products. The development will be based on Java and Unix/Linux.
Software Configuration Management Administrator/IT - Espoo, Finland
We are looking for a seasoned professional to fill out the role of SCM administrator as part of the Information Technology (IT) team. The SCM administrator is responsible for administrating and maintaining all the code and change management tools, as well as supporting the Engineering teams in all projects.
Software Solution Specialist - Espoo, Finland
Solution specialist has a key role working as an ‘internal specialist’ in Customer Support and Maintenance organization. In this role a person is responsible of troubleshooting and resolving complicated customer solution problems together with frontline support engineers and product development.
Technical Consultant
Airwide Solutions is global mobile telecoms organization located in Reading, Montreal, Sydney and Espoo, Finland. Airwide Solutions works within the messaging (SMS/MMS/EIR) market place worldwide.
The Technical Consultant will work within the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Delivery Services team based in an European location and will report to the Delivery Services Manager.
Technical Consultant is the core member of the customer delivery project (together with the Delivery Architect and Project Manager) and carries out the deployment activities off-site and on-site in the customer premises. In essence, Technical Consultant builds, integrates and verifies the required customer solution based on the configurable software product modules, customized features, and 3rd party components (like Oracle). Technical Consultant is responsible for creating the required customer software and hardware environment with network connectivity, followed by the installation, configuration, verification and documentation of the ordered customer solution. The tasks also include customer project communication and support during the deployment project as well as training. Technical Consultant may also carry out specific ad-hoc project management, deployment, systems integration, trial/demo setup or testing activities, partner product interoperability verification, and troubleshooting tasks. Traveling requirement depends on the geographical region and assigned customers, and typically varies between 100-200 days of travel per year.
The Trainer will work in the customer training team with three other trainers, reporting to the Training Manager. The training team is part of the global delivery services team managed by the Training Manager who reports to the Global Deliveries Director.
The trainer will deliver training courses to customers covering all Airwide Solutions products. The training courses cover the functionality of the products and their operation and maintenance. The trainer will also be involved in the development of training materials working in collaboration with the technical documentation team.
Training courses are mainly delivered on customer site but can be delivered in Airwide Solutions offices worldwide. The role requires that the trainer is willing to travel globally to deliver training courses. The normal workload could require at least two training courses to be delivered on site per month, but at times of high demand, this could be more frequent. NB training courses are generally from 3 to 5 days each.
