Product Manager
Location: Montreal (Longueuil), Quebec or Reading (UK)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Managing the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
- Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by ongoing visits to customers and non-customers.
- Developing and implementing company wide go-to-market strategies for the product working with all departments to execute
- Produce product literature such as Product Descriptions and Features & Benefits documents
- Produce/Initiate product white-papers and assisting in Technical response to Sales requests
- Co-ordinate changes to the product between Sales and Development teams globally
- Driving a solution set across development teams (primarily Development/Engineering, and Marketing Communications) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning.
- Lead communications throughout the company regarding product positioning, differentiation and capability.
- Work with Sales and drive the product launch and effective presentation of your products to target customers.
- Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product
- Working with an engineering counterpart to define product release requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- At least 2 years working in a product management or similar discipline (business development, programme management) in a Mobile Telecoms environment
- Considerable experience working directly with customers at an Engineering Manager level or higher.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Bachelor Degree.
Desirable:
- Significant experience (~1 year or more) with Airwide Solutions products.
- M.B.A.
- Minimum of 1 year working with messaging (SMS/MMS) and other network elements

- Excellent strategic skills, developing product and technology strategy to match technical capability with market opportunity.
- Proven ability to convincingly communicate new concepts and ideas to customers and sales in both written and oral form.
- Outstanding business planning analytical skills.
- High degree of self sufficiency, self-confidence, positive disposition, adaptable, proactive nature and mentality
- Able to multi-task, work under pressure and flexible to requirements
- Well organized and excellent communication skill
- Experience of MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project)
Special Features
This position requires travel to customer and non-customer sites worldwide (~25%).
